During the last months we thought a lot about Norm and where we wanted to go. One of the key decisions was to change the way we organised our production and stocks.
As a new brand, it's very difficult to know if a product is going to sell well or not. If we produce too little, we risk disappointing many customers. If we produce too much, we risk overproduction, and this goes directly against all our principles.
From the beginning of Norm, we wanted to be the change-makers in the industry, and we believe that the best way to achieve our goals is to produce only what we need. This is the reason why we want to introduce pre-orders.
For every new product, we will secure a fixed quantity of raw materials and produce the sneakers based on demand. This means that the quantities are limited and that you'll have to wait a bit longer than usual to get your pair. But we worked hard with our suppliers to streamline our production and be able to deliver your shoes within 4 to 5 weeks.
In a world where fast fashion is still a popular behaviour we wanted to step ahead and slow down.
